Guy Poppy is a biologist by background and widely known for his expertise in transforming food systems, both nationally and globally, through themes of human health and sustainability. His roles have included Head of the University of Southampton’s School of Biological Sciences and cross-university directorships focused on interdisciplinary research.
Linus Pardoe, Senior UK Policy Manager, Good Food Institute Europe
Linus Pardoe is a Senior UK Policy Manager at the Good Food Institute Europe - an international non-profit organisation working to create a more sustainable food system by accelerating protein diversification. Linus works with UK policymakers, funding bodies, businesses, NGOs and other stakeholders to advance the development of plant-based foods, cultivated meat and fermentation.

Tom leads the FSA's Innovation Hub, which is responsible for the regulation of novel foods, genetic technology and innovative products.
