The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill is a piece of legislation that will: Automatically repeal all EU Law that was retained in UK law by 31 December 2023. Provides Government Departments and devolved administrations with the power to determine the future of each piece of retained EU law i.e. whether to: restate, revoke, replace and update the retained EU Law. This piece of legislation will be incredibly important for the food and drink sector where a lot of rules e.g. on labelling and safety derive from retained EU law. This webinar will provide a summary on what this Bill is; why it is important; and will then consider and reflect on the significant risks and opportunities with this Bill that business operating in the food and drink should understand and proactively engage with.
